Originally released in 2017, "The Rise of the Specter" marked a defining passage in the project’s early history. The ultra lo-fi sound of the early recordings had been abandoned in favour of a more epic and grandiose approach. It also saw adding another layer of darkness through a hostile attitude and accompanying visual presentation.
